STYLING BOOTIES FOR SPRING

One of the downsides to living in New York is that when you want to shoot content for spring inspired looks, there’s likely a solid foot of snow on the ground while you do so. While shooting these looks, not only was I sloshing through snow and muck, but it was also snowing.

But spring is coming y’all and I’ll obviously go to any extent to bring you all the spring look as soon as possible.

I have been loving booties lately. They’re great for all seasons, they have a thicker heel so that I’m less likely for fall on my face strolling down the isles at Target, and they can be styled with all my favorite pieces. Today I styled these taupe booties from The Natural Lily to create different casual outfits to transition into spring.

I braved a rusty old bridge (It’s funny how leaning up against a bridge in -10 degree weather, in a mini skit , can feel so normal when you’re a blogger) Here I pared the taupe booties with a cute corduroy skirt and striped mock neck top. I love how this taupe color looks really great with just about any color or pattern, so they paired perfectly with the mixture of pink and grey in the rest of my look.

Next I got carried away by the wind (quite literally) in this paper bag skirt, bodysuit, and rainbow cardigan look. I love adding a pop of color to a neutral toned look.

I’m linking the booties for you here, they’re such a great piece to wear with all your spring looks. Snatch them before they sell out, you’ll thank me I promise.
